Richard Haayen grew up around investigative work and learned early what it takes to produce research that actually holds up. He joined PADIC in 2008 to help establish the firm’s process service division, then spent the next 15-years building a career in analytics and business intelligence before returning to lead the firm as principal.​

​That background arc gives PADIC something most investigative agencies lack – genuine data intelligence capability at the leadership level. Richard holds a BBA in Management Information Systems and an MBA, both from SMU, and spent 15-years leading data and analytics teams before returning to PADIC. He brings that same rigor — systematic data collection, precise analysis, defensible reporting — to PADIC’s financial due diligence work, pre-investment engagements, and operational infrastructure.​

​Richard is an active member of the Texas Association of Licensed Investigators. Outside the office, he enjoys family scuba diving trips, hunting destinations around the world, and volunteers within the East Dallas scouting community.​
